Written by one of the UK’s most talented play writers, the setting for this comedy is a shabby 1960s bedsit in London. The hero invites a girl he met at a concert to his digs for a date but because he is nervous he also invites his larger than life friend for support. What ensues is funny but perhaps not entirely unexpected.
